I have been searching high and low for good seafood recipes. I am from the midwest, but my husband is from New Jersey, so he is used to eating a lot of fish.
I have absolutely no experience cooking it and even less experience eating it (unless you count fish sticks!) I am not a big fan of fish with a strong taste and I am completely baffled by things like shrimp and lobster.
I do not even know where to begin. Does anyone know of some easy recipes for beginners, that might be a good surprise for my husband?
This recipe with shrimp was delicious. I will definitely enjoy making it again.
My family loved it. The lime was especially great.
I thank anyone with sufficient skill level will enjoy making this food. I always enjoy shrimp and seafood and this is my favorite recipe so far.
Adding peanuts to the shrimp recipe was not a good idea, though its worth sharing with friends.
I thought the peanuts were a poor addition because they ruined the texture of the dish.
Next time I prepare this shrimp recipe, I will leave out the peanuts. Other than that, it was truly excellent.
We sat in the swing on the porch watching the little kids running, laughing and crashing into each other as little ones do.
As soon as the clouds began to break, and the sun at last came out to warm up the earth for awhile, we layered up and started out.
They all climbed onto the red monstrous oval disc, sure of the time of their life at a simple push.
Seeing such happy tiny faces crammed together looking up at me caused me to pause and comment to Michael, ‘now doesn’t that look like the yummiest shrimp salad ever?’. Let’s hope such fun days are plentiful this winter. Cooking is always alot of fun - especially when you do it with your entire family.
